Cafe Dalchini is an Indian fusion restaurant. On one hand, our dishes will take you into a new world of modern cuisine, while on the other, our more traditional menu pieces will transport you to our family homes in India.
Dalchini is the perfect place for dinner with a twist, friendly business meeting, or an alternative to the usual been there and done that date. To keep things spicy, we keep adding dishes to our menu.

Fusion of Indian and Aussie..
What a great idea! Merge the spices of India with the mainstays of Australian menus and what do you get - simply great flavours. I had the tandoori flavoured halloumi burgers made with naan bread and the tikka spiced white fish pakoras. The meals at this restaurant are absolutely delicious, a lot of gluten free options. Not your everyday Indian meals, very different but deliciously so. DO YOUR SELF A FAVOUR and dine out here, you won't be disappointed!

We are located directly in front of Regent Cinemas at Dean street. We are open for dinner only at the moment due to lack of staff. If you are around, pop in and say hello!
Other Cafe - The Proprietor
The Proprietor shop at 459 Townsend Street is one of the oldest buildings of Albury, with its original foundations being laid pre 1890. It started its life as a saddler and was later converted to a butchers shop. It has a large cellar underneath that was used to store meat before the days of refrigeration.
It has undergone many facelifts during its life but the renovations we have completed mark one of the biggest changes it has seen. We have endeavored to fit out the shop using as many recycled materials and equipment as possible while not forgetting function, style and ambiance. We have also made most of the furniture and fittings by hand. We focus on the really important details that make eating out a pleasure!
